Suisse’s SOA program, helping the enterprise transform core processes into reusable
services.

Press Release Body = Dubai, United Arab Emirates, July 8, 2007: Credit Suisse, one
of the world’s leading financial institutions and a global leader in SOA projects,
chose CentraSite, Software AG\'s SOA Governance solution, to support its strategic
Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) program. CentraSite will form the technological
foundation for Credit Suisse’s SOA program, helping the enterprise transform core
processes into reusable services. By mapping business processes in a modular way and
shortening software development cycles, Credit Suisse expects to see measurable
increases in business process efficiency.

CentraSite, the open standards-based SOA Governance solution co-developed by
Software AG and Fujitsu, controls and administers all artifacts in an SOA-based
application landscape. Credit Suisse will use CentraSite to store interface
descriptions and map the structure of associated mainframe applications. The
company’s primary objective is to uncouple existing applications from each other in
order to build a flexible application landscape.

Credit Suisse will implement CentraSite as part of the first phase scheduled for
completion by September 2007. Subsequent phases will extend CentraSite as the
central registry and repository for Credit Suisse’s SOA application landscape
worldwide, replacing its proprietary solution. Credit Suisse is at the forefront of
using SOA, having established its program in 1998.

“CentraSite can support efficient modularization of even the largest IT landscapes
to help companies protect their past IT investments and make their existing
applications future-proof,” said Dr. Peter Kürpick, Member of the Executive Board at
Software AG.

“We evaluated more than ten SOA Governance solutions, ultimately selecting
CentraSite,” explains Andreas Kurmann, Director Special Projects at Credit Suisse.
“We were convinced by the product’s rich functionality and high level of maturity.
Both show that Software AG understands the requirements for building and running a
Service-Oriented Architecture.”

Commenting on the implementation, Mr. Mohammed Al Fardan, Managing Director – Middle
East and North Africa of Software AG Middle East, said, \"The financial sector in the
Middle East is growing at a very fast rate and the investments they manage are also
growing exponentially. It is therefore crucial for the financial sector to manage
the agility of their systems and increase efficiency as time is critical in their
business. The implementation at a world-class investment organization such as Credit
Suisse is a perfect example of how SOA Governance solutions can help the financial
sector in the Middle East.\"
